E10 Stats Update: Week 12/Postseason Rd. 1

The Elite 10 is our list of the state's top seniors for the 2018 season. Each member was revealed, one-by-one, back in the summer. This is where we will track their stats this season. Updated stats following the final week of the regular season for 6A, 5A, and 1A, as well as first round playoff games for 4A, 3A, and 2A:

Brandon Turnage | Lafayette

Defense: 2 tackles, 1 pass deflection in 42-13 win over Lake Cormorant.

2018 totals: 5 INTs, 1 IR for TD, 5 pass deflections, 57 tackles, 4 TFL, 1 forced fumble, 16 catches for 382 yards & 3 TDs

John Rhys Plumlee | Oak Grove

Passing: 6/7 for 146 yards & 2 TDs, Rushing: 1 carry for 5 yards in 48-28 win over Jim Hill.

2018 totals: 140/215(65%), 2,036 pass yards & 24 TDs, 100 carries for 922 rush yards(9.52 yards/carry) & 12 TDs, Defense: 1 INT

Dreke Clark | Starkville

Passing: 1/1 for 18 yards & 1 TD, Rushing: 11 carries for 134 yards & 1 TD, Receiving: 3 catches for 34 yards in 41-14 win over Clinton.

2018 totals: 157 carries for 1,178 rush yards(7.5 yards/carry) & 21 TDs, 29 catches for 198 yards & 2 TDs, 3/3 passing for 25 yards & 1 TD

KJ Jefferson | North Panola

Passing: 19/23 for 282 yards & 4 TDs, Rushing: 13 carries for 111 yards in 55-14 win over Amanda Elzy in the first round of the 3A playoffs.

2018 totals: 138/219(63%), 2,499 pass yards & 31 TDs, 94 carries for 818(8.7 yards/carry) yards & 7 TDs

Kyziah Pruitt | Noxubee County

Passing: 3/4 for 110 yards & 2 TDs, Rushing: 16 carries for 129 yards & 2 TDs, Receiving: 2 catches for 15 yards in 28-3 win over New Albany in the first round of the 4A playoffs.

2018 totals: 6/11(55%), 156 pass yards & 2 TDs, 50 carries for 407 yards(8.1 yards per carry) & 9 TDs, 23 catches for 275 yards & 2 TDs

Dannis Jackson | Sumrall

Still awaiting final stats from season-ending 18-16 loss to South Pike in the first round of the 4A playoffs.

2018 totals: 75/126(60%), 918 pass yards & 9 TDs, 141 carries for 1,355 yards(9.6 yards/carry) & 11 TDs, 2 tackles & 1 pass deflection on defense

Jerrion Ealy | Jackson Prep

Jackson Prep had a bye in the first round of the Class AAAA MAIS Playoffs on Friday.

2018 totals: Rushing: 107 carries for 1,152 yards(10.8 yards/carry) & 20 TDs, Receiving: 13 catches for 327 yards & 3 TDs, Passing: 2/4 for 37 yards & 1 TD

Nakobe Dean | Horn Lake

Defense: 6 tackles, 1 forced fumble in 52-21 win over Southaven.

2018 totals: Defense - 90 tackles, 3 Interceptions, 5 sacks, 16 tackles for loss, 2 forced fumbles Offense - 15 carries for 91 yards & 6 TDs, 1 catch for 6 yards

Louis Paul Smith | D’Iberville

Smith helped pave the way for the Warriors to score one touchdown in each quarter in a season-ending 48-28 loss to St. Martin.

2018 totals: Smith, from his center spot, anchored an offensive line that paved the way for D’Iberville to tally nearly 400 yards per game(250+ on the ground). He also helped make room for Jaden Walley to rush for over 1,200 yards this season.
