The Elite 10 is our list of the state's top seniors for the 2018 season. Each member was revealed, one-by-one, back in the summer. This is where we will track their stats this season. Remember, the Mr. Elite award brought to you by SERVPRO will be announced near the end of the season, with candidates and finalists to be to named beforehand, and each of these players is expected to be in the hunt for the honor given to the state's top player.

Brandon Turnage | Lafayette

Receiving: 1 catch for 44 yards & 1 TD, Defense: 11 tackles, 1 interception in 33-14 win over North Panola.

2018 totals:3 INTs, 1 IR for TD, 1 pass deflection, 18 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 catch for 44 yards & 1 TD

John Rhys Plumlee | Oak Grove

Passing: 19-23 for 214 yards & 3 TDs, Rushing: 10 carries for 58 yards and 1 TD in 36-18 win over Laurel.

2018 totals:45/58(78%), 672 pass yards & 9 TDs, 18 carries for 185 rush yards & 2 TDs

Dreke Clark | Starkville

Rushing: 24 carries for 154 yards & 3 TDs, Receiving: 1 catch for 3 yards in 23-7 win over West Point.

2018 totals:50 carries for 371 rush yards(7.4 yards/carry) & 7 TDs, 4 catches for 7 yards, 100% completions, 1 completion for 9 yards

KJ Jefferson | North Panola

Passing: 20-33 for 272 yards & 1 TD, Rushing: 19 carries for 58 yards & 1 TD in 33-14 loss to Lafayette.

2018 totals:41/62(67%), 663 pass yards & 6 TDs, 28 carries for 151 yards & 2 TDs

Kyziah Pruitt | Noxubee County

Injured; did not play in 34-12 win over Shannon.

2018 totals:6 catches for 12 yards

Dannis Jackson | Sumrall

Passsing: 6-6 for 113 yards, Rushing: 1 carry for 41 yards & 1 TD in 33-6 win over Sacred Heart.

2018 totals:27/37(73%), 351 pass yards & 2 TD, 33 carries for 232 yards(5.9 yards/carry) & 3 TDs, 1 pass deflection on defense

Jerrion Ealy | Jackson Prep

Rushed for four scores(3 in first half) in 45-7 win over Forest.

2018 totals:18 carries for 293 yards(16.3 yards/carry) & 12 TDs

Nakobe Dean | Horn Lake

Recorded an interception in one half of play in a 52-12 win over Charleston.

2018 totals:6 tackles, 1 Interception

Louis Paul Smith | D’Iberville

Smith and the Warriors scored 40+ points in each of their first two games of the seasons. In week they dropped their first game of 2018 41-7 to Madison Central.

2018 totals:From his center position, Smith is anchoring an offensive line that is paving the way for a dominant D’Iberville offense. The Warriors averaged 8.4 yards per rush and totaled 616 yards yards on the ground in their first two games of the season.
