The Elite 10 is our list of the state's top seniors for the 2018 season. Each member was revealed, one-by-one, back in the summer. This is where we will track their stats this season. Remember, the Mr. Elite award brought to you by SERVPRO will be announced near the end of the season, with candidates and finalists to be to named beforehand, and each of these players is expected to be in the hunt for the honor given to the state's top player.

Diwun Black | Forest

Transferred; did not play.

2018 totals: 9 tackles, 10 yards per punt return

Brandon Turnage | Lafayette

2 interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, 1 pass deflection, 3 tackles, 1 tackle for loss in 41-8 win over Charleston.

2018 totals: 2 INTs, 1 IR for TD, 1 pass deflection, 7 tackles, 2 TFL

John Rhys Plumlee | Oak Grove

Passing: 13-19 for 287 yards & 4 TDs, Rushing: 6 carries for 104 yards & 1 TD in 41-19 win over Wayne County.

2018 totals: 26/35(74%), 458 pass yards & 6 TDs, 8 carries for 127 rush yards & 1 TD

Dreke Clark | Starkville

Rushing: 10 carries for 108 yards & 3 TDs, Receiving: 2 catches for 7 yards in 56-7 win over Oxford.

2018 totals: 26 carries for 217 rush yards(8.3 yards/carry) & 4 TD, 3 catches for 7 yards, 100% completions, 1 completion for 9 yards

KJ Jefferson | North Panola

Passing: 12-17 for 211 yards & 2 TDs, Rushing: 9 carries for 93 yards & 1 TD in 34-8 over Rosa Fort.

2018 totals: 21/29(72%), 391 pass yards & 5 TDs, 9 carries for 93 yards & 1 TD

Kyziah Pruitt | Noxubee County

Injured; did not play.

2018 totals: 6 catches for 12 yards

Dannis Jackson | Sumrall

Passing: 7-13 for 85 yards & 1 TD, Rushing: 18 carries for 74 yards, Defense: 1 pass deflection in 18-15 win over Wesson.

2018 totals: 21/31(68%), 238 pass yards & 2 TD, 32 carries for 191 yards(5.9 yards/carry) & 2 TDs, 1 pass deflection on defense

Jerrion Ealy | Jackson Prep

12 carries for 167 yards & 4 TDs in 41-0 win over Washington School.

2018 totals: 18 carries for 293 yards(16.3 yards/carry) & 8 TDs

Nakobe Dean | Horn Lake

6 tackles in one half of play in a 51-6 win over Shannon.

2018 totals: 6 tackles

Louis Paul Smith | D’Iberville

Smith helped the Warriors rush for 8.8 yards per carry, for a total of 219 yards & 4 TDs, in a 49-33 win over Picayune.

2018 totals: From his center position, Smith is anchoring an offensive line that is paving the way for a dominant D’Iberville offense. The Warriors average 8.4 yards per rush, and have totaled 616 yards yards on the ground in two games this season.
