GoW: Thunder & Destruction
Jackson Prep has scored at will thus far this season behind their veteran quarterback and super sophomore running back. MRA has talent stacked up from one of the state’s top offensive lineman to a sophomore quarterback that is on the rise. All of these elements are sure to make a play on Friday night but it will be the defense that will win the game.
Jackson Prep will rely on several key players from Cooper Carroll to Jojo Pound. The Patriots are fast. They are athletic and they are very disciplined. In order to slow down the MRA offensive attack they will need to rely on all three of those elements.
Thus far this season MRA has relied on Cory Jackson to fly around the field and be a ball hawk. He has done so to near perfection. It will take eleven men on Friday night to keep Prep from having their way offensively as they have done time and time again.
The last time MRA beat Jackson Prep was November 5, 2010. It was for all the marbles and the MRA Pats played a complete game. It will take that again if they want to put an end to the losing streak.
Prep has a knack for making teams seem off their game. If they continue to play their game as they have been doing, the streak will continue.
