Catching Up With Kymbotric Mason

Noxubee County will enter the 2016 season king’s of the 4A hill just as they entered the 2015 season. Senior wide receiver Kymbotric Mason only knows how to play a tough schedule that ends with raising the golden football up as champions at the end.

The 6-2, 180-pound playmaker is ready to go for the three-peat in 2016.

SES: How has the summer been going and what are you working on?

Kymbotric: “It’s been going good. The team has been working really hard. I have been working on my route running, my agilities and my vertical.”

SES: How does it feel to be going into your senior season as the two-time defending 4A Champions?

Kymbotric: “It feels great to know that we are back-to-back champions. Now that everybody is gunning for us we just have to keep hitting the gas and take on every opponent one game at a time to get a three-peat.”

SES: Have any of the younger players impressed you so far this summer?

Kymbotric: “We have a very young quarterback, Maliek Stallings. He is showing a lot of improvement.”

SES: When you look at the coming season’s schedule, what team are you most excited to suit up against?

Kymbotric: “Starkville. They are the team because it’s always been a big game with a lot of hype and the competition level is always high.”
