2015 SES Mr. Elite: Jack Abraham

The 2015 season has seen a great deal of outstanding athletes. Records have been shattered and legends were born. After the dust had settled on the regular season, there were many players that had the types of year worthy of being named the 2015 SES Mr. Elite. However, one of those players did things on the field this season that have seldom been done before at the high school level in the great Magnolia state.

Oxford High School will be playing for the 5A State Championship on Saturday night in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Their success is due in large part to the play of their senior quarterback, Jack Abraham.

Abraham has displayed all of the characteristics indicative of the Mr. Elite Award. His play on the field has been nothing short of incredible and his leadership abilities both on and off the field are rivaled by no one.

Not only has Abraham sailed past the 4,000-yard and 50-TD mark this season, but he has also managed to lead his Chargers all the way back to the title game.

When the Charger defense is on the field Abraham can be found talking up his teammates on the sideline and working with his receivers so that they can be even better the next time out.

Abraham has gone over the 10,000-yard mark for his career as well as the 100-TD mark. Oxford High School is going to have hard time replacing him when he graduates. The Chargers will not be the only ones to miss him, high school football in Mississippi will not be the same when he is gone.

Jack Abraham is a one of a kind type of player and SES Mississippi is honored to name him our 2015 SES Mr. Elite Award Winner.
